Using the Mavic 2 Zoom

Hi Guys,
I bought the Mavic 2 Zoom yesterday and I'm very satisfied.
You will understand that I am a neophyte!
Now I use an android smartphone with the controller, if I wanted to use an ipod, is the SIM card indispensable?

You do not need SIM card / cellular data connection to fly the Mavic. You will not get the "Maps" display on the app when you don't have a data connection but everything else works just the same.

However the first time you use a new device, you do need to log in with DJI - so do this at home or somewhere you have a wifi connection, or make a wifi hotspot with your phone. After you've done this once you don't need to do it again.
