Using zoom in hyperlapse

I need some advice about using Mavic Zoom’s zoom in a time/hyperlapse, I’ve had some success but I usually overdo it. When done right it looks like a dolly-zoom combined with a hyperlapse.


What’s everyone’s opinion regarding DJI adding this functionality to the go4 app? I might be crazy and the only doing this… I hope there are others

I have the zoom as well and also have this same question. I believe it's just a matter of testing it out and finding what works. It's always nice to have some insight from someone who has done it and can give you feedback. Have you had an opportunity to test or have any examples you can share since you posted this?

Why not just take movies as you fly toward something at a steady rate or zoom at a steady rate and the adjust the speed of playback in post to get the speed of a hyperlapse?
