Neat photo! I can't quite place the view, though as it has been too many years since I lived in that area. There are a lot of neat things to see along the eastern escarpment of the Sierra's and the White Mountains on the other side of the valley. Some day I hope to come down there and fly over those young volcanic cinder cones south of Big Pine with the high Sierra's in the background.Reminds me of the geologic formations in utah and the south dekota bad landsView attachment 88646

The eastside is a target rich environment for photo video and many other things! We explored the cinder cones last winter.Neat photo! I can imagine and with the snowy Sierra's as a back drip how can you go wrong! That whole Owens valley is pretty cool. It must have really been something before LA hijacked the water.Thank you! if ever get the chance i would highly recommend checking these out.
