As of now, one cannot upload 4K videos on Facebook or Instagram

Try using XMEDIA RECODE presets for youtube. You could in theory also raise the bitrate of preset before encoding as well.

I find that my videos come out really high quality on YouTube but not FB and specifically not FB groups.

I simply upload to YouTube then post links.

Why would you want to be able to upload 4K video to YouTube?

99.99% of potential views don't have or want the bandwidth or device that can display 4K.

At most, the majority of users will probably view at 720 or 1080

Have you tried taking just 1080 videos ?
