Video Lag Caused me To Crash

I don't know if it is connected to the recent firmware update, but a weird apparent video lag caused me to crash into a tree. I was examining my roof and was going to my right above the roof just out of sight watching exactly where it was above the roof. I was moving slowly right in which case it should have appeared right above me in a few seconds, and I was going to land.
But the video seems to have got stuck and I kept moving to the right - as I was still seeing roof - straight into a tree some 20 feet to my right.
I still have no idea how that actually happened.
Does anyone understand this?

PS. Drone not bad, but gimbal totally ripped off and now lost :-(

Did you have the drone within VLOS?

Pilot Error Caused Me To Crash..... fixed it for you.

The video doesnt see to the right. It only see's forward or down. There is no obstacle sensors on the sides of A Mavic. need to look up at it occasionally to make sure it is where you think it is. Sorry for your loss, but it is only a dumb mistake if you do it twice!
