Video on iPhone as high res as the card?

Silly question - but I flew today and haven't downloaded the footage from the SD card (2.5k/50P), I have access to it on the app - but is the quality of that footage not as high res?

No its lower quality than the footage on the SD Card

That's what I was thinking - I'll wait until I get back to the studio on Sunday night to look at at it proper.
