Video transmittion on RC/Ipad is laggy

Hi Guys,

Been flying for a few weeks and have been using my iphone 7 paired with my RC. I got my newly purchased ipad mini 4 from the bestbuy extravaganza and tried it out this morning. While, there is bigger landscape on the ipad mini obviously, the lagginess on the video feed was sub par as compared to the iphone. The iphone was smooth and the ipad mini seems like its running out of bandwidth (video transmission) during the flight.

Does video caching setting have anything to do with this ? I left the iphone setting to 2mb while I up'ed it on the ipad to 16mb (i have a 64mb ipad).

Do you guys have any tips on how to improve this ?

Yes, upping the rate will effect lag.

Actually increasing the amount of memory available on the SD card for video caching should not affect the lag or video quality of the transmission. Do you have hardware decoding turned on, with the better processor on the mini 4 you should use that as software decoding will produce a lag.
