Mini 2 Villiersdorp Tugboat Ride

Villiersdorp is a small town situated in the Overberg region of the Western Cape. Surrounded by wine farms, it is a 90 minute drive from Cape Town. The town is the centre of a productive farming area where nectarines, peaches, pears, apples, apricots are grown and wine is produced.
Villiersdorp was briefly called Akkedisdorp (Lizard Town), and later it was founded in 1843 by Pieter De Villiers of French Huguenot stock. Pieter De Villiers was a farmer and magistrate who envisioned and planned the layout for the town, as we know it today. The town has retained its rural character and atmosphere.
Notable is the tugboat stranded at the town entrance - the skipper's name was Wrongway Jose and the Navigator was Oftenlost Wherarewe.

I have done this drive on a trip to South Africa. Beautiful country.

The transitions were too quick and dizzying for my eyes. Needs to be slowed down a bit in order to appreciate each clip. Also, why only 1080p?

Hi Dale, I cannot be bothered with 4k, mainly cos I cannot really see the difference and it was meant to be a quick and lighthearted piece since some of my "viewers" seem to get bored somewhat speedily and do not appreciate the nuances...
