Vision System Error

New Mavic. 2nd flight. Shortly in it, I got the Vision System Error message. I searched for fixes.

I tried to calibrate the vision sensors through the app, but it wouldn't let me do it. It said the sensors were normal.

Next step, when I get home, will be to download the DJI Assistant software and try to calibrate the sensors that way.

Any other suggestions? Am I wasting my time and should I just send it back for a replacement?

Thanks

Yaniv

I'd turn the sensors off in the app, reboot everything then back off. Turn the sensors back on & try rebooting everything. I think this problem comes & goes & its more of a firmware problem then hardware unless you landed it hard on your first flight. You could even try downgrading the software. I know all of this is a hassle for a brand new drone.

No hard landings at all. Flew fine, then I got the error message while in flight. I'll give that a try.

I think I solved it..for now. I found a YouTube video on how to calibrate the vision sensors. I downloaded the DJI Assistant software and went through the steps. The first time it looked like it worked, but got stuck at 85%. Then I did it again and it calibrated the sensors quickly. When I started it up, there was no warning message.

I went out this morning and flew for 20 minutes and had no errors. Hopefully that permanently solved the problem.
