Air 3 Wailing Widow Waterfall, NC500

Another video from the NC500, this time the Wailing Widow Waterfall, near Kylesku in Assynt.

There are two ways to see the falls: from the bottom—limited parking and a rocky gorge to navigate—or from the top—a walk over rock and peat bog to the viewpoint and a little more parking. The previously dry weeks of weather meant the top route was less boggy than normal, but it also meant less water was falling, but I still think the falls were beautiful.

Fab Suzanne well done. You never disappoint and have just shown my wife your film-all she said was why aren’t your films like that! I said ‘cos we don’t live in the Highlands! Off to the Florida shortly with my MA2 although trying find somewhere to fly over there that isn’t banned is tricky. Always get some footage though and I just love the space they have there. Will see if I get enough to put together something that is worthy of showing here.
