Unlike Amazon, the program requires Part 107 line of sight. Drones can fly 3+ miles to and from delivery points and will lower packages on a string. Parcels will max out at about six pounds.

But 3 miles out is not Line Of Sight?

The article states the aircraft will be "controlled over the cloud" sounds like they have or are anticipating the LOS Waiver.

Better not fly them over the Murk, They will likely get shot down. ?

That's always the potential until a few people are prosecuted for it.

Interesting. I wonder how soon before Walmart and Amazon stop selling recreational UAV systems and associated components like batteries, prop, and spare parts. It would not surprise me if this were to happen.

This is a better idea that aerial delivery, but it was considered uneconomical

I'd keep the robot and leave the package ;)
