Warning on controller not the app

Has anyone tried to fly there drone when Trump is in town? My drone won’t fly and I’m not within 5 miles of the airport. But it says on the controller no fly zone and I’ve never experienced this. He leaves tomorrow just wondering. I’m trying to fly at my house. So I no other than Trump being in town nothing is different.

As long as you're within the NFZ, yes, you cannot take off. If you're outside the NFZ, you won't be able to fly into it.

Where do I see how big the NFZ is? I’m not normal in an area I can’t fly. I’m at my house I fly here all the time

If you click the marker in the center it'll give you the start/end time of the TFR.

I know this may sound stupid, but my first thought was, "They can do that". So in theory they can ground almost all drones, by declaring a NFZ. I am guessing it would have to receive this information threw the net. In the airplane world it is done by a NOTA(Notice to air men).

I don’t see that but he leaves tomorrow so I’m guessing when he is gone so will the flight restrictions. I’m in Royal Palm Beach Florida

I don’t know exactly how that works. But even if I don’t hook up a phone or the iPad hooked to the drone and the remote still say NFZ and the drone won’t take off.

For future reference, the TFR has a diameter of 30 miles from PBI. That's roughly just past pompano to the south. I had to go to ft lauderdale to fly.

These TFRs can be created months in advance to be active during a certain window. Your drone would have received notification of the TFR for that location, its radius, and the duration last time it was online and adhered to the restriction.
