Waypoints 2.0

Is there a way to create and save some waypoint 2.0 flight plans without having to have the aircraft and controller powered on and connected to my smart device?

I create and save my mission directly on to my smart controller ... while sitting on the couch. SC is on; bird is off. Is this what you mean?

Yeah, but I don't have the smart controller. When using the phone app I haven't found a way to get into the waypoints unless everything is on and connected. I have seen some people say that if you don't close out of the app when you turn them all off that the app will stay in fly mode and then you can go into waypoints and do everything except altitude. Seems like a bit of a hassle.
