On the Mavic 3 , do I need a sd card in the controller to store created way point missions ?

On the Mavic 3 , do I need a sd card in the controller to store created way point missions ?

Just try it without one. I will next time I use my controller. I think the RC has a small amount if built in storage. The waypoint missions are just xml files, text, and hardly take up any space.
