OK everyone, I've read up on the waypoint mode under the DJI GO4 app. It did not seem too complicated. I brought up my training area on the map, generated some waypoints, set the various parameters (i.e. altitude, speed), then saved and renamed the task. Now it is just a matter of getting to the area and actually attempting the flight.
From what I can see the final steps are:
A. Launch the aircraft
B. Enter the waypoint mode
C. Load the task
D. Hit the GO button
Upon completion of the final waypoint the instruction is to return home. The task indicated a distance of just over 6,000ft. There area a total of 5 waypoints.
Does the 6,000ft distance include:
A. Distance from launch to 1st waypoint, transversal of the waypoints, then return to home distance from the final waypoint
or.......
B. Only the distance between the actual waypoints
