Hello all.

Can anyone point me to a good tutorial on this subject? I can't seem to get it right. One time I even almost lost my drone. Is there anything out there can help me out?

Thanks!

To take your waypoint missions to the next level, I suggest having a look at the Litchi Mission Hub, as noted in several other posts. This enables you to create a waypoint mission right on your desktop computer or laptop and transfer it to your DJI controller (in my case, RC 2 and RC Pro 2) running the DJI Fly app. To do this right, I strongly suggest taking advantage of the hub's ability to write out a 3Dpath.kml file that you can open in Google Earth to see what your mission looks like in 3D before you fly (extremely helpful, especially if you have varying terrain and/or tall tree canopies and/or controlled airspace altitude restrictions). "Litchi Utilities > Mission Converters > Litchi to DJI Fly" is how you then convert the Litchi Mission Hub CSV to a KMZ to transfer to your controller. The Litchi Mission Hub for mission planning is free, but the Litchi Utilities for converting requires a small payment. Finally, when you have questions on all this, AI is your friend (and can be your enemy :-)) to guide you through the process *and* to help you evaluate your mission for cinematic transitions (or whatever) before you fly. This has changed my game for waypoint mission development (so much better than creating it right in the DJI Fly app). Note there are still a few things you must add directly within the DJI Fly app - for me, this is setting photo waypoints and video camera start and stop waypoints.
