When are the skies gonna clear...?

That’s flying weather :). Was nice here first thing but Mrs Danny is out running so I’ve got the boy and now it’s raining.

Hoping there’ll be a break in it for at least a battery’s worth and I’m lucky to have a few flying sites very local but I was hoping to get further afield.

could be a while if like me your in the UK but dont worry make sure your batteries are at storage charge 50to60 percent get a nice skin to cover your UAV and go on your computer and watch the vids you took when the weather was good back in the summer

And Wales to boot ;). You must never see the actual sun, just 50 shades of grey :D

Yep it’s going to be a long winter hence why if it’s dry at night I’ll fly...

you could be correct there but contrary to popular belief we do have some sun and rain free days even here in WALES great to have a sense of humour good post

I'm actually in Singapore where it is summer all year long. The end of the year is usually the rainy season but it is unusually wet this year...

Saw the sky cleared, packed my stuff and headed out to one of the few legal flying spots. Laid my landing pad on the ground, connected my phone to the controller, looked up and saw the dark clouds moving in. Next minute it started to drizzle...

Guess I'll have to wait for the next weekend and hope for good weather.

I’m a Yorkshireman- I can hardly talk about decent weather. The only reason we’re happy to put up with whatever the sky chucks at us is because it is free.

I was down in Oxwich for a wedding in the summer and it was glorious - too hot if anything.

i guess unless we live in OZ or should i say the southern hemisphere we are all going to have to wait for some better weather i have done the same as you set up and had to cut things because the weather changed oh the joys of flying UAVs

After hearing what you guys have to deal with, I guess I shouldn't be complaining. Hope the skies clear for you guys long enough to have some fun. :)

I have some footage from a summer trip to Portugal and an autumn flight that I could edit I suppose.

But dammit I want a beautiful crisp winter’s day so I can get my M2P out into the Peaks. No point even going to one of my cheeky local sites today. Far too damp and the rain just keeps coming in waves.

I must admit I’m playing around with photos in LR at the mo. Got all the time in the world to master that bit of photo editing software.;)

it will not be long before we are able to get some great shots of the snow after it has fallen on our beautiful land the brecon beacons are amazing to see when covered in snow as Porky said just need that sunny winters day

just realised another good thing to do when the weather is not good for flying like right now go on the forums and get involved great way to get good advise and have some good conversations with fellow flyers

Trying to summon the motivation. Might dig the laptop out. Bought an i7 Dell XPS 13 witn16gb of ram for exactly these situations and have nearly used it :(

That sounds like a plain, new laptop to play with, and you’ve not even used it yeto_Oo_O

Blimey all I can smell now is a nice Sunday roast cooking in the background, just started raining again so eat dinner then 40 winks me thinks.;)

Clear blue sky all day todsy, yesterday and tomorrow. 36C forcast tomorrow. Only problem is the sea breeze which builds up in the afternoon.
