Hmm. All has been great with my hyper lapses - until today. What would cause this kind of behaviour/result? All the footage I shot using hyper lapse is doing this.

Any ideas?

Were there obstacles around? Or maybe weak GPS because of the high cliffs around the drone combined with VPS over water?

Less than 20 meters from me - direct LOS. No obstructions. Same thing on all subsequent hyper lapses in multiple and various locations.

If I had to guess, it looks like it was fighting a very strong wind. What hyperlapse mode were you using?

It seems to me that the GPS unit or the IMU is faulty making the drone unable to sense position change accurately.

Exactly what I was thinking. Also, it's behaving increasingly strangely. It's randomly disconnecting and this morning it decided to attempt to land on the ocean. I selected RTH and clearly the home point had shifted radically (50 meters). The option to cancel rah was greyed out but I still had (some) manual control and fought with it to get it down safely. DJI are looking into it, but I I suspect my puppy is somewhat ill.

btw: emvision - there was no wind at all. What those pictures describe would have to be a hurricane;)
