Yup?I was planning to fly my MA2 above my house to film the SpaceX Crew Dragon launch this happening in about an hour. However, when I checked for NOTAMs on 1800wxbrief.com, I discovered that my house is about 1 1/3 miles inside the temporary national defense no fly zone. ?
Here it is, just for laughs. The good parts are in red:

I think that the TFR zone expands to the west, forming a circle around the launch site, on the day of the launch. If you go look on skyvector right now there is a TFR for the 30th which I believe is the next launch window.
This is the normal launch TFR of late. Waaaay smaller than the VIP TFR.

lol it's not all of florida - just go look on skyvector.com it's free.
And those do not kick in until saturday at noon.
If you are in this TFR it would be interesting to see if DJI knows about it. - I'm thinking no because they might have to download a new geo file. Start your AC and see if you get locked out.

Just as I suspected DJ I can’t handle TFRsI actually did start my AC, twice, about 30 minutes before the launch was scheduled. The first time, the controller beeped incessantly but there was no warning in the app. I turned everything off, and on again a few minutes later. There was no beeping or warning message at all. I initiated a launch, but shut it down before the AC became airborne.
...or worse.Just as I suspected DJ I can’t handle TFRs
Please don’t take off I don’t want to come visit you in jail.
I'm aware of that having been a professional photographer longer than I care to admit. This is just for fun.Once again, at the distance you are from the launch site any camera with a wide FOV will only show the rocket as a dot, you need a telephoto lens and preferably a big one from that distance. And, if the camera in the MA2 is not appropriate then the even wider FOV of a GoPro is even less appropriate.

When I was a kid I spent the weekend in jail because I got in a car accident and had no ID....or worse.

Particularity given the current (multiple) situations in the USA at the end of May 2020. I think the LEA's will be short on compassion and hard on the penalties at the moment.A NFZ is nothing to laugh at. They would love someone to make an example out of
I can’t think of anything worse than jail.
The cloud ceiling was too low to see if from my location. I did hear/feel it several minutes after the launch.ever been married
So where's the video (no ground based footage) ??
Did you at least see it/feel it ??
Three times Jail is still worse.ever been married
