What are the app or drone restrictions in place?

I noticed a lot of users are using custom firmware to make it go further or faster. Not that I want to void my warranty.

But what are the current restrictions imposed by the drone/app? I know about the NFZ taking off, if it is on GPS. Then you won't be able to take off.

Is there also a 400 feet altitude limitation enforced? As you can see I've never even attempted to fly above 400 feet. I bought the drone in US, say if I travel to a different country with much less restrictions. Do these limit gets automatically removed?

The max altitude above the takeoff point is 500 meters. You can configure that setting in the following section of DJI GO:
