Here is the FCC certification for the
DJI Goggles 3:
FCC ID SS3-TKGS323 DJI Goggles 3 by SZ DJI TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD
Here is the FCC certification for the DJI Motion 3:
FCC ID SS3-TKMO324 DJI RC Motion 3 by SZ DJI TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD
I think it's misleading to say "Future DJI products are 'banned' in the US but all previous products are 'approved.'"
You can't ban something that doesn't exist and the FCC has never said your drones are "approved" but only that they are certified and the Dec 22nd ruling does not impact them....yet. So that's code for "...but they might be impacted later." The FCC continues to believe current DJI drones are "bad for national security" and the FCC hasn't "approved" of anything and we're going to find out more about that soon.
Anyway, it's more accurate to say "Here's what you won't be getting in the US" because these technically can't get FCC certification (this is a rumored product floating around on the internet):
It's a great example but it's just a rumor and it clearly shows why you should not call it a "banned future product" because that makes no sense for something that doesn't actually exist; besides there are no guarantees because the certification process has an exemption or waiver provision which could allow it (doubtful). Still, once these new products launch, calling "future" products as banned products will no longer make sense from a timing perspective. Instead, words matter and we should describe it as "All products without FCC certification cannot be sold or used in the US." That would be *all* products whether in the past, today, or in the future.
There is no published list of banned products that I am aware of and I doubt one will be officially started.
My point is even though you have good, solid equipment that works well, it's high tech, and it will last for years to come, it's going to be quite pointed how damaging this "ban" really is once "the entire rest of the world moves on."
