I dunno, seems to me the authorities prefer to use kinetic force. Because it won't be long before drones are built to resist countermeasures. States like Louisiana passed a law to allow drones to be shot down and I have to wonder since the law was passed, how many drones have actually been shot down. Likely zero which makes you wonder if the law was really needed. Even if you shoot down one or two in a year, the way the law was passed made it sound like the drone threat was imminent and overwhelming and a drastic solution was needed *right now.*
