What is the functionality of the circled areas?

I’m curious, I’ve been repairing my own DJI Drones and after disassembling and replacing components I realized that and patience is the key factors. There is a reason for this metal strip and I would like to know. And in the second photo there are points that the metal strip touches. I keep thinking that strip is for grounding,Drone repair pro’s please chime in.

I agree looks like a faraway shield.

It’s certainly not a faraday cage which would need to completely encompass an area for it to be effective.

It looks to be an earthing strip that is there to harmlessly ground any static spikes to prevent damage to static susceptible components.
