Not heard much about the customs debacle lately. Waiting on the N3 goggles and thinking they might be held up here in the USA because of that even though the website says out of stock.
DJI has been selling a lot of product direct from China most recently, so I doubt they are out of stock due to being stuck in Customs. Furthermore, any type of Customs related issues in the US would not prevent DJI from selling products from their website. It would only possibly affect the delivery of any shipped products.
As for the latest on the out of stock issue, maybe try reaching out to DJI support for help? They'd no doubt have the best information regarding when they might be in stock in the US.
I recently purchased the Avata 2 and although the DHL online tracking details says "Exception" and "Package on hold" it was delivered today.
Not sure about how the Avata 2 combo is packaged but I'm receiving 4 packages (3 of them from UPS): 1 drone, 1 with goggle3 and mc, 1 with case and hub, and 1 with 2 batteries.
