what is your best antenna mod ? for Mavic and for Spark

I wonder if I can have a switchable external antenna for Mavic and Spark, like the below :

I use the cheep little plastic clam shell with the gold reflector and can say Much improved of just antenna's

Would using antenna mods give better range in scenarios where line of sight is obstructed, or is it only worthy in scenarios where there is minimal obstruction?

Will this also improve live video reception?
