what kind of connection cable for tablet to rc?

May seem like a simple question for many, but what words should I avoid in the description of a cable? The usb cable that came with my tablet is way too long, so I am looking at 6 inch micro usb on ebay, and some have these particulars, like "fast charging" , or 2.0 "fast" data, or "2a rapid charging"

Not sure if this "fast charging" will do more harm than good, draining my rc battery that charges the tablet (and I guess you can't disable that without a resistor built-in)...

What's the optimum cable I need?

The important thing about a USB cable is that it is a data cable and not charge only. A right-angle connector at the tablet is also desirable.

Do you plug it into the USB port on the bottom of the RC? As I understand it, it doesn’t charge the tablet, it doesn’t charge my iPad anyway.

In that case it won’t charge an iPad. Pretty sure it says that in the manual somewhere.
