I now have two Mini 5 Pros, one as the backup and 2 Mavic 4 Pros with again one as the backup. I have 5 plus batteries and 3 standard batteries for the Mini 5s and 7 Batteries for the Mavic 4s, I think that should be good even if they get harder to find, or do I still need more.

I try to buy batteries when I see them at a good price and when I can get a good deal on another one rather than calculating total flight time. I have a number of power stations so battery life is unlimited but I prefer to have charged batteries ready to go. In the meantime, I take more drones with me and after about 3 different drones rotating, I'm ready to quit.

That being said, my Mavic 4 Pro and Mini 5 Pro are inactive until next spring 2026 so I am in the process of collecting batteries. So far I have 4 for the M4P with 1 more on the way and I have the 3 for the M5P with plans to buy 2 more. Unless there is a great deal over the winter, this might do it for me because....

I stopped at 6 for the Mavic 3 Pro and 6 for the Mini 3 Pro and I could never burn thru each of those.

Also for me, all my drones (and batteries) have wraps so that also means batteries need wraps, so there's that.

These drones have ridiculously long flight times and so many batteries aren't really needed like they used to be.

I keep enough to keep me going while at least one set charges that way i could almost fly all day if I choose.

I think you need four more standard batteries for the Mini 5 Pro! LOL!
PM me if I can be of help!

Three for each drone, cycled religiously (OCD) 😁

Recently retired batt #1&2 for both Mavic 2's after 6 years of use - road-testing the decent quality 3rd party non-OEM replacements... so far: so good.
Six years of usage is impressive. What is the average life of an OEM DJI battery with continuous usage?

I got an average of 4 batteries for each of my drones unless different models can share batteries. I can still get about 15-20 minutes flight time out of my 9 year old OG Mavic Pro batteries. I never thought they would last this long, but with regular maintenance they have. See my drones in my sig line.

Just curious, what you're doing with your drones to need so many batteries?

For my flying needs three of each is probably fine. I am just trying to future protect them, buying enough now, in case they become more difficult to either buy new drones or batteries for these as they get older. Same reason I have two of each drone.
