This brings up a question I have on smart controller battery management. I see plenty of information offered about proper intelligent battery management for the M2P but nothing about managing the battery for longevity in the smart controller. As I understand it, there are two LiPo batteries in the smart controller which I think is what your hands grip on the bottom of each side. Would the same general rules for maintaining the aircraft batteries also apply to the smart controller batteries? I would think so. I have also read that these batteries are not field replaceable. Does this require sending the very expensive controller back to DJI for battery replacement? How inconvenient. Did I just not find a previous thread on this topic?
