Which circle mode?

Should I use the quickshot/360 panorama or the Hyperlapse circle for 360 video shots of Stationary objects?

I just draw a box on the screen, then select circle. Sometimes, though, it can't spot the item I want to circle, like a flag the other day. Fortunately, before MA2, I always did manual orbits and MA2 does them well!
