Does having a Remote Pilot Certificate current require only taking the Recurrent test?
I earned my Remote Pilot Certificate on 4/29/2017. Since then I have not renewed my currency. Can I take the recurrent test to become current after almost 4 yrs.?

As far as I know there is no penalty or time frame to renew, you just can't fly (Commercial) until you renew. Bring your certification card with you to the test, The only difference in scheduling, you will select the “Unmanned General – Recurrent” test. 40 questions this time and 1.5 hours to take it. They skip any Weather and Loading & Performance Airmen Certification Standard areas. Brush up on the others if need be...Good Luck...oh and you need a 70%...I'm betting you get 95% - 100%
