If you think disabling a drone using "Unspecified defense systems" (quote from the Navy times article) is "the full force of the military" you're in for an incredibly brutal awakening.

. A UAS flying on a base like Whidbey Island could be a very real threat. That's a far stretch from "flying a drone near any military installation." I fly near military installations all the time but I fly legally which means flying the appropriate distance from the base. We all know there are plenty of tools out there showing where you can fly and where you can't. If you're flying somewhere where your flight could be cause a threat to human life, you deserve to have your drone taken down.
