Who's ordering the new controller?

I've been eyeing the late-breaking rumors on the imminent iPad mini 5, but now the new Mavic 2 controller has been announced. Even at the cost, I think it will be the way to go, over the tablet version. I don't really care about display size, as much as visibility (brightness) and ease of set up, and less worry about cords getting dysfunctional causing connection problems. What are others thinking?
