Why does DJI always have to make their RC USB cables so bloody short?

There is nothing special about the cable on the USB-C models.
On the remotes that have micro USB the cable just has the ID pin grounded to put the RC in OTG mode.

DJI needs to manufacture 12 inch and/or 18 inch cables of the same standard as their short length cables.
Or an American manufacture do so, and certify the cable as to DJI oem standards.

Same standard as DJI? Those short cables tended to go bad, which is why we've touted to use the full A port on the bottom of the remote with any quality standard USB data cable. Then DJI had to muck it up by not providing the A port on the MM1 remote.

Same standard? It's USB, that's a standard.

Hi, hopefully i may still get a response, i have the same problem. I'm planning on buying a cable c to c extender, can i still use everything as normal? do i need to buy a certain cable?
