Why don't they include 2.4 ghz and why only 5.8

To me it would be a better option to pick the one you like best at the time and place your flying. I believe DJI should of gave us pilots a choice to use between them.

That's a fair question. 5.8 GHz is generally less crowded than 2.4, but not necessarily so, and it does have more channels (23 vs 11). But given the same power, the longer wavelength of 2.4 GHz gives it slightly more range and better penetration through obstacles.
