Hi. I am a novice that just got a new Marvic 2 Zoom 2 weeks ago. I used to fly for 15 to 20 mins with video recording. I found the video recording of the flight is automatically split and saved as different mp4 files with max 5min each. Should it not saved as 1 mp4 file? I tried looking into the setting but cannot find anything.
Can anybody pls share experience and fix? Many thanks.

Nothing you can do it’s just how the file system works. It actually has a 4 GB partition so it doesn’t directly have to do with the time but the size of the video

Did you ever see a camera that uses an SD Card that records over 4GB clips. No because they are FAT32. Nothing you can do about it. Free, fast, easy to use software for splicing, cutting, adding audio to your DJI videos. Plain and simple. No fancy stuff. Really fast and no ads. Avidemux version 2.7.3 - Avidemux - Downloads It says not secure but I found it to be safe.

if you are using 4k to record video it will be very short as you say 5 mins i record in 10-80 at 30 FPS and get 13 and a half mins before it goes on to the next segment

This seems to be a time-based thing, but it's not. If you look at the file sizes of the video segments, you'll find that they are 4GB. It's simply that the settings you have for your video, mean this file size is reached after "5 minutes" of recording. If your resolution was lower, the recording time would be longer (as mentioned by @old man mavic above). This is something that happens due to the formatting of the SD card. Note, however, that if you use a post-production video editor, it will stitch the video segments together without any noticeable glitch or interruption.
