I have some lighting in my videos but don't know how the get a still from them. I find it very hard to stop the video when the lighting strikes LOL any help there would be appreciated thanks

I use a android note 8 phone. It allows me to drag across the bottom of the screen with my finger for editing formward and back. I can capture stills from there. Apple may do the same.

I have it on my iPad too and also on my iPhone, but prefer to edit on my iMac since photos and video trailer from my iPhoto library provide the screensaver for my AppleTV... love the photos at 80” diag.

Actually an eight year old plasma... can’t get them new any more. Gonna use it til it dies (gas leaks out).

I dont know myself. Sounds like a Google search. Also editing software for your Dell could be found. Hope this helps.

I've only worked with a couple of NLE (non linear editing) packages and use Adobe's PP exclusively now. But all NLE's I've tried allow you to advance the playhead one frame at a time from any selected clip along the timeline. Typically the right and left arrows will advance or retreat the playhead one frame at a time so you can zero in on the "money shot". Most packages have a "frame grab" function that will then allow a particular frame to be saved as a jpeg.
