Will iPad mini fit well into controller?

Newbie here. Still wishing for my Mavic. Wondering if an iPad mini will fit well into the controller. Or what is largest type and brand of tablet will work?

I use an Ipad Mini 2 and it presses right in.
Holds it very securely.

Anything larger than an iPad Mini is going to require some kind of tablet mount to attach the device to the remote controller.
