Will there be efforts made to recover the downed MQ-9 from the Black Sea? Do they have on-board self destructs?

Depending on your level of confidence, that inference could range anywhere from an “Oh, crap” to something useful like a complete destruction of the aircraft.
Without knowing anything about how the MQ-9 was designed, I would hope it had a method for deleting the data collected by the drone. While getting access to the hardware would be of interest to Russia, knowing what we saw and what we could see would be of greater value,.

There is something missing with the released footage. The vid shows the prop spooling down after the fighter dumped fuel or whatever it did then in another vid one of the blades with a hook in it. If struck with an aircraft I can't see how an impact would hook the blade with it still turning (all be it not cruise revs), just one blade bent. To me the V tailplane just in front of the prop disc would have been damaged by the intercepting aircraft if it hit the prop.
There seems to me to be editing of the vids, it's not a complete run of events.

That video is interesting. It looks like the fuel is coming out of the engines to me. So did the Russian pilot have to kill his engines to drop the fuel and then he was trying to restart them to burn the drone. I am sure the pilot didn't try to hit the drone intentionally that is potential suicide. But if his engine restart burnout failed he would lose maneuverability fast. Instead of burning the drone in the fuel air mixture he was flying dead stick war apk and losing altitude and controllability fast. I am calling FUBAR on that one. That Mig was lucky to make it back and land.
Your analysis of the video is truly impressive! It appears that the Russian pilot intentionally released fuel from the engines to burn the drone, but the engine restart burnout failed, leading to a loss of maneuverability and altitude. Despite the challenging circumstances, the pilot skillfully managed to bring the aircraft back and land safely. It's a remarkable display of their abilities and the resilience of the aircraft. Well done on your keen observation and insightful analysis!
