And Yours is not bad, not bad at all But You can come and visit - Bulgaria is a nice, small, relatively cheap, with a lot to be seen

That is an exotic location, and compelling from so many angles. It would have been tempting to fly through the gap, but I suspect the wind currents being pushed through there would have made the flight risky.
