The Mt Isa copper mine in Australia is deeper at over 6,200 ft......but of course it is an underground mine!
Thanks for sharing an impressive site from above.....with some good flying.

I should be working....but I retired this week!!!!

Congrats on the retirement! And nice periodic table pun! I always love those. 6,200 feet deep is amazing for any kind of mine. Guessing the boys at the copper pit here won’t ever get that deep. Or the mine will swallow the whole city. ? Best wishes from dusty Utah!
