Wow, what big files you have!

So I’ve been flying for a few weeks now and have noticed how large the video files are.

- Do you save all of your videos in their entirety?
- Is there a video editor app that’s best to make a summary video longer than the 30 second snapshot in the DJI App so I can save smaller files?
- Is there an app that automatically records flights if you forget to start the recorder?

So I’ve been flying for a few weeks now and have noticed how large the video files are.

As a pro videographer, I discovered years ago that buying new and larger hard drives becomes a necessity. And the prices keep dropping on hard drives, making them quite affordable. . I zip up old projects to store as many as I can to my oldest hard drives, and to clear space on my working production drives. The older, smaller drives get pulled and labeled as an archive, and are then replaced with newer larger drive - and on - and on - and... It's a vicious circle, but it works.

Thanks, I’ll have to take a closer look at that app, for $22 I hope I use it enough to get my money’s worth.
