Specs look like it would work fine. I run DJI GO 4 on a Honor 5x.

Can you root it and turn off usb charging when connected to the remote? That's what I do.

I believe so. I haven't used the phone as much as I'd like so will test further to see if I can stop the app crashing on it first. If I find that the app is only crashing rarely I'll probably root the phone and disable charging.

Which app do you use to disable charging?
