You can set Pano's to RAW

Just realized this, but you have to be in pano mode on the drone for the option and wanted to pass it on.

Some of the pano stitching programs can't read the metadata like location when the images are DNG instead of JPG, so, while location and altitude relative to the launch point can still be copied from the camera created JPG, using JPG's instead of DNG's can be very useful!

Per the OP, you have to actually already be in pano mode, while flying, for the option to appear.

Once set, it survives a reboot. Just have to do it once.
