It’s possible that my controller was also updated during the earlier firmware update and is now no longer compatible with the older firmware version 01.01.0610. If that’s the case, I obviously have a problem because there’s no downgrade available for the controller. :-(

How did you manage to downgrade? I have firmware 01.01.1600, since I installed it I could not pair my controller to the drone anymore, therefore it became useless, I have tried unsuccessfully to update the firmware, all kinds of pairings and nothing, it seems the only viable option is to downgrade, or install a . dhd version compatible with ARB 8 (Which I do not have), can you give me a hand by telling me what you did to solve it?

I just returned from a snorkeling/droning trip to Australia and Fiji. On the island we stayed on in Fiji, they use a Mavic 3 to scout Manta Rays in order to direct the snorkeling boats to the best locations to view the beautiful giants. It rains a lot there, even in the "dry" season. The drone pilot Mei Mei told me that her greatest wish was to have a drone which she could fly in the rain. Naturally, I thought of you, and gave her your email address (but the wrong one). I since sent her the correct one. I'm reaching out to you with hopes that you still are on this forum.

I'll be in Chicago in a few weeks and was planning some morning flights near the Navy pier but not necessarily taking off from there as I see that I may be questioned.

my goals are of the Chicago Harbor Lighthouse but it's still about a mile off from the end of the pier.
also I'd like to try to get the Adler Planetarium plus the very nearby Shedd Aquarium flying from the Lakefront trail.

would greatly appreciate a local's insight and hope to hear back from you!

I have an L2 Lidar sensor with only an hour or so of use, as well as an rcplus controller that is basically brand new. I am selling it on ebay as a bundle for 10,500. It says i lack priveledges to post in the classified section here. I’m a brand new member. Probably why. Anyway I’m likely going to raise the price in the next few days to match market values. Not sure who will read this but i thought id try it here.
