fire breaks can be a good thing. but this use is abusive by the local government.

doing this is what so many fear when they see a drone, someone spying on them.

I wonder if these pilots have to keep the drones within LOS. If so, is there any real advantage of having to using drones? The batteries only last so long, and the perimeter has got to be very long.

Can't see the economics of this versus a helicopter flight around the perimeter.

heck why even use a helicopter? satellites works great, then pay a hs/collage dropout to view the footage looking for things that would get them a bonus (intensive to really look).
as in if this is really a problem then the government can allow the spy satellite to do a "wide" angle view.
after-all they are not trying to spy on you, or look into your bedroom...are they?
