Amazing video from drone? ( Mod Removed)

Ok, so we're saying it's real, no helicopter with a long range lens, and the drone used a wide angle lens. Then please explain with the drone being so close how it managed to stay stable while encountering the tremendous wake turbulence created by the AN-225.

Here's the wake turbulence from an A380, similar in size to the AN-225 (30 more feet of wingspan for the AN-225).

The wing vortices descend as they move out from the point of generation. The drone is level with the top of the aircraft as it passes, and so it remains above them.

Wingtip vortices propagate outward and downward from the wing (your video clearly illustrates that). When the AN-255 flew past the drone, both aircraft were at the same altitude, so the drone was never in any danger from wake turbulence at all.

Now, if the camera drone had been a few tens of feet lower in altitude, it might have been a different story...

Probably from MS FlightSim. LOL

Watched in full screen (odd max video res is only 720p) and 1/4 speed. I agree it's a sim, specifically MSFS 2020. Want further proof? It was apparently added to MSFS 2020 around the end of May '21 and the plane in this video and the one from the so called drone shot have the same fuselage markings.

Same aircraft markings yes.
It's a tough one to call, the video in the original link looks so far more realistic compared to your sim video posted.

If you go back to the source video as linked in the OP YT video, that's here . . .

. . . you will see it has a lot more in depth footage cockpit view piloting the aircraft, but hit the windshield, looks very real.
Comment there say flying drone 150' from the aircraft using zoom camera.

It IS Russia, so maybe they did film as it appeared.

Kiev is in Ukraine, not that it changes your point. The residents might care though.

Sorry guys for deleting post but this from a Admin

No matter our perspectives on the global situation and whether or not drones should be used for this purpose, clearly it is political and prohibited here. Many members come here to escape politics and controversial topics so I'd like to keep it that way. There are plenty of other forums that would welcome those discussions.
so that’s it for this thread.
