Android <---> DJI GO4 optimization

Do you have tips for Android optimization so the DJI GO4 app and especially the smooth image?

I have an older Andriod device and the following gives me smooth performance. Newer devices might be able to tolerate more activities without getting sketchy.

1. Wifi off
2. Stop all other applications, and clear notifications.

Once you've started your Go4

3. Clear your onboard video cache.
4. Airplane mode, once I have my map loaded.

I also turn my location (GPS) off, once I have my device location on the screen confirmed. Since I don't use follow mode, and I use the aircraft location as the home point, it is no longer needed.

As for live image, I suppose you would need Wifi on and be near a hotspot, but I've found that it seems to have issues, using my device.

I have done all of the above suggestions plus I have USB de-bugging enabled (not sure if that matters ) and have had zero issues with DJI Go4 or Litchi on my Droid Turbo
