Hi everyone. I'm Mikael from the Swedish drone as a service company GLOBHE where we get paid work to registered freelance drones in a bunch of countries all over the world. Well, we always pay... EXCEPT for this time. The record is for the ”Largest Digital Album with Drone Imagery”. Not as cool as "Most Apples Held in Own Mouth and Cut by Chainsaw in One Minute" but still fun to put on your list of accomplishments!
We don't only want to establish a new world record (that's just for fun), but also raise awareness of climate change and demonstrate how drones can be used locally to monitor areas at risk of natural disasters. So we're only after top-down imagery which can be stitched together into orthomosaics, and of areas showing the effects of climate change, like soil erosion, drought, rising sea levels, and many more. We'll be highlighting all pilots that take part in this on our social media and blogs so hopefully it's a good opportunity for any freelancers wanting a bit of exposure.
