Can not activate.

I received my Mavic yesterday and wanted to fly it today.

Everything seems to go as expected until I attempted to register the drone. It freezes at the verify email page, and won't go any further.

Some cursory searching seemed to indicate that switching devices might work. I've tried my iPhone 7+, iPad Pro, and iPad Mini. All act exactly the same.

I had the same problem. Powered everything off, then back on and it worked.

When it asks you to name your Mavic, keep it as simple as possible. The name shouldnt have any foreign characters in it, and sometimes no spaces in the name. That will freeze up the process. I always tell people to use the name mavic as the drones name. Easy to register.

Thank you both. I tried both suggestions and neither worked.

Rebooted the phone.
Rebooted the drone.
Named the device "mavic" with all lower case letters.

Do you already have a DJI account set up? That helps if you do. If you dont, you can go to their website and open one. Then once you get the verification email from them that your account has been set up, try it again.

Apparently the 800th time is a charm.

It eventually went through. Not sure what was different.
