Can you see the Goggles Screen Clearly Without Extra Glasses

Reading a lot about focus issues and having to use reading glasses. My problem seems to be different. Image quality is fine however I really have to strain my eyes to see one image. Feels almost like I have to watch cross-eyed. My daughter of 12 with perfect vision experiences the same (without me hinting about it). Could something else be wrong? Changing IPD doesn't solve the problem.

No glasses and can see clearly. Late 30s in age.

No complaints from my SO either and she wears corrective lenses.

I'm 66 use 2.0 to read and a 3.0 for DJI goggles.

I make some 3d printed frames which you can then fit your own lenses in, or i make the come thing to 3.50 magnification. Chances are you will need something.
